Background:

Culligan Water is a well-established brand known for its water treatment products and services. They wanted to create an animated advert to increase brand awareness and showcase the benefits of their water solutions.

Approach:

I was tasked with creating the animated advert from start to finish. I began by collaborating with the client to understand their brand identity, target audience, and key message. The client provided a script outlining the main points to convey in the advert.

I took the script and developed a storyboard, visualizing each scene to ensure the narrative flowed smoothly. I then created illustrations and character designs that aligned with Culligan Water’s brand image, incorporating a mix of 2D animation with stylized 3D elements to add depth and visual interest.

In the animation phase, I used my expertise to bring the illustrations and characters to life, focusing on fluid motion and engaging transitions. I carefully integrated the 3D elements, ensuring they complemented the overall 2D style of the advert.

For the sound design, I selected appropriate music and sound effects to enhance the viewing experience, creating a cohesive audio-visual narrative.

Outcome:

The final animated advert effectively showcased Culligan Water’s products and services in a visually appealing and engaging manner. The integration of 3D elements added a unique touch to the 2D animation, making the advert stand out to viewers.

The advert was well-received by the client and their audience, helping to increase brand awareness and drive interest in Culligan Water’s offerings.
